I've been playing ArcheAge for the past month, this is a cool game.

Very different and lots of depth to it.

Lots of in game missions, crafting and huge sieges (haven't been in one yet)

So far I'm level 20 and it's been huge fun.

to what game is it similiar?

It's got of lot of components from different games.

It has pets, horses you initally ride, and then at lvl 15 or so they can attack. and there are wolves that are just plain dd pets. I'm only up to lvl 23 and I'm only working on in game missions, by passing the crafting.
I still can get passable armor and weapons.

It does remind me of rappellz with the pets and riding mounts. Combat is a little more interactive. The graphics are great, the world is very large and there are great story line missions.

So far I'm impressed, the only negative I've heard is that when you get to the last ten levels (40 to 50) you are in the pvp war zones and you can get trounced by the other factions (2 of them) war hunting parties.
