Epic 7 part 2 sneak peak

Rappelz Epic 7 Part 2 'Obsession Update':
- Items will have an updated icon to represent rank.
Rank 1-7
- Renewed Monster Color Grading
The color coding for representing the difficulty of monsters will be changed and will add a new side mark. Unknown if the color on the name will change as well.
Gray (1 - 4 star) - Very Easy
Green (1 - 4 star) - Normal
Yellow (1 - 4 star) - Hard
Red (1 - 4 star) - Very Hard
- Redone inventory UI.
Inventory will look new (after 5 epics of the same UI). Combination, Inventory, Warehouse, Item Box, and one unknown menu will look similarly to the redone Guild Menu. The unknown menu is speculated to be the durability menu for easier recharging.

Offhand from just looking at the new inventory UI are these significant changes.
- The rentable/permanent mounts will have their own slot in the top left corner.
- The Item Box will have a tiny button at #7
- The order of equipment from left to right and top to bottom.

Weapon | Shield/Weapon
Bag
Jewelry is in this order.
Earrings | Ring | Ring
- Notice the tiny progress bar which may indicate durability if the item has it.
- Another tiny button that shows a right arrow. Unknown function.
- Decorative slots will be to the left at #8

- Another unknown button to the top right corner.
- Belt is near the bottom (with a new belt icon) along with 6 card slots with the first being whatever, second being an addition to the first, third is a +1 type card, fourth is a +2 type card, fifth and sixth maybe cash shop only cards (as indicated by the symbol).
- New lak counter (incorrectly spelled LAC) along with progress bar.
Inventory Box
- #2, #4, and the stuff under 4 seem to indicate sorting.
- #3 seems to indicate item deletion. Yes you can delete items now.
Combination, Item Box, Warehouse
- Nothing other than the new UI skin.
Durability Menu
- #7 and #5 seem to be the durability menu instructing players how to recharge items. It is unknown if this is an NPC function, item function, or local player function.
The minimap will also be changed.
Only difference is the presence of a new dropdown bar that shows the amount of durability your items have left in the form of a progress bar.
- New quests
The lv130 chain of quests are now open. 11 new quests will show up.
- New cube recipes.
More items can be made with new cube recipes.
- The price of upgrading Rank 2-7 items will drop in price.
- Monster stat rebalancing.
- Item drop rates will be changed.
Monster difficulty reflects item drop rate now. "Most of the monster's drop rate will rise'.
- The 'Creature Farm' will be added.
I am not too clear what the creature farm is so far but I can speculate that it is a place to store extra pets that can automatically 'farm' items for you and gain exp while doing it without doing anything. Further information is pending.

The boss 'esposito' who is a demon type.

More stats can be added by combining items up to +3. Each + will add 10% to a certain stat and the multiplier depends on the +. 10% * 3 (for +3) = +30%.

- New features will be added to the auction house.
When searching for items, you can 'wear' the items while checking it (O.o). New additive feature in searching.

- A new splash image will be added when running the game.
- Log files are changed.
- Summon creature order items added to the item shop (not known for US).
- Creature card will have icon changes.
- Creature card information will be changed on the UI.
- The Koala will have redone attributes and stats.
What is NOT mentioned in this update:
- Master Classes.
- Improved community chat function.
- A new dungeon. It may have been mentioned but poorly translated.
- The racetracks. Also could of been mentioned but poorly translated. (The Creature Farm?)
- New pet(s). So far only one has been mentioned and not completely confirmed as a pet.
- New graphical effects for weapons and decorative items. This could be released later.

Meh, I don't agree at all with a completely overhauled inventory UI, it just seems like it'd be more appropriate to do something like that over the course of several updates so that people who are used to the traditional UI don't just go "wtf why does everything look so ridiculous?" As for the petfarm, seems like an okay idea, sort of cheap if, when push comes to shove (and I don't question if it will) it ends up becoming some type of cs implemented tool to let people level their pets without even playing.
redone color indicators~meh, not necessary
added massive questline~yuck, I didn't appreciate witch quest let alone that. I personally think they should just put rappelz down for about a week and implement an entirely different questline. You know, something with...oh what's that blasted word, a "story that lasts more then 1-2 sets of quests that people will actually pay attention to" I suppose would fit the bill.
updated rank icons~wtf?
updated minimap~the durability bar is O.K. I guess, also not really necessary for the attentive player. It's an mmo people, make us focus a little bit /facepalm
possibility of viewing equips in the AH~I like this one as opposed to most of the bs, it's one of those nice features that doesn't sound like it'd mess up anything in the game while possibly making it a little more interesting to use the AH.
Koala~we all knew it would happen anyway, and it doesn't apply to me in any case.
The durability guide (?)~I hope to god it's simplistic, the inventory and character formats are already cramped enough as it is. If it works out well though, good. It'll mean fewer CAPS LOCK SCREAMERS on whole chat xD
That's pretty much my input. I give this update maybe a 3/10 on a good day.

I do expect to be organizing boss kills to try to farm the extra good boss cards. Alliance mates invited first ofc, but friends of the alliance welcome as well. Also, start thinking about what other staged pets you would like to stick in those extra belt slots. Success favors the prepared

Interesting info, except the inventory part. It seems gala's making Rappelz more and more complicated. So... does anyone know when these updates will take effect?
