Carnival Weekend!!!! (The Long Awaited Announcement!)

Carnival Weekend

When: Friday Nov 19 thru Sun Nov 21
Who: NineSigns and Alliance Members! (invited guests and friends ok too)
Why: Raising Siege funds and Having a Good Time

Friday
Ornitho Race - Participants can only use an Ornitho and no other mount or special buffs. Race will start at Laksy Anchor and end at Ivory Tower npc. First one there wins!

Picture Hunt - We will post a series of pictures.. take pictures of yourself in those places and get back to the starting point, first one back, with proof sent in wins

Saturday
PVP Tournament - Our old favorite, with prizes and good times for everyone
PVP Workshop - During and after the tournament, higher level sieging players will be available to answer questions about pvp and siege (PAKPAKPAK Alliance Only)


Sunday
Dino Slap!
- all participants are to use/create a noob (level 10)
- your participating noob will be named following this template: NOOBinsertnamehere
example: NOOBvashtii
- participants are to stay within the assigned boundary (I was thinking Katan arena) and to ride their Dino.
- one person will be "it" and will be on foot and unarmed, the goal is to "smack" the other participants off their Dino.
- once a Falling Injury has been sustained the fallen noob will remain on foot and join the "it" team. This will continue until there is only one person remaining on their Dino: and is declared the winner!

Dae Pinata
- all participants will enter the death match arena
- Daeshala will have a 30 second head start into the arena
- participants are to find Daeshala and attack, whoever lands the final blow wins (winner will be determined at the descrection of Dae)
- any consumables may be used at participants own expense

Throughout the Weekend
Raffles: Our guild has donated various prizes, armours, epic stones, cards, and a pet or two to be raffled off. Vashtii will post the list of raffle prizes, and sell raffle numbers. We will use a random number generator to select numbers to give out the prizes!

Welcome to our Carnival Weekend!

All proceeds go directly into the Guild/Alliance fund to be used for sieging. We have had quite a few wonderful donations, and more continue to roll in through the door.

There will be many chances to win something new!


Events

There will be 2 events per day from Friday-Sunday

Each event has an "entry fee" of 1.5 million rupees - prizes will be distributed to the winner(s) of each event directly following that event

For every event that you WIN you will gain an additional entry into a raffle of your choice!

Raffles

There will be many raffle packs offered for Carnival Weekend (details on the raffle items to be posted later)

You may purchase as many raffle entries as you wish - the more you buy the greater the chance to win!

Prices for raffles will reflect the value of the items being given away!


Please use this forum to sign up for the events, and also to bid on Raffle items (once they have been posted)

At what time will this take place

RAFFLES!!!

Raffles will run throughout Carnival Weekend, you may buy as many tickets as you like, and may bid on as many Raffles as you would like. Our goal is to raise money for SIEGES - if you enjoy Sieges please bid on the Raffles to support our Guild/Alliance.

Winners will be selected using a random number generator - for example if you purchase 3 tickets into a raffle you will receive 3 separate numbers, if either of those numbers are drawn you win. The more tickets you buy the better your chances at winning the item(s)!
