I've never been in a siege, and I have very little experience about pvp builds... if you really need me(for whatever strange reason) I would be willing to help

You will have to change your play style if u plan to be a Nines. Mage MB with kenta pet is a NO NO
I said yes cause you're a good person and willing to aid us and be a true Nines.

U need to focus and get some proper pets (if u're mage then mage pet), improve you're play style and get better sense of Nines as a guild. This all sounds like coming from someone who takes this game to serious, but it's not We just want the best, and you have potential, that is why you have a yes from me.

I wanted to ask about that... why should I get a magical pet? only for the unity? the +300 m attack or whatever... it does not seem very worth it. I will do regardless what the guild asks but I wish to understand better

my pets anyway are 151 kenta and 150 rp, if you want me to use the rp as a main I have no problem... but it's not that big of a difference, in fact the kenta is probably more useful...

You want to use mage pets anyway because there are usually a few OLs with WDs or IMs in parties and they're running Auras that boost mage pets. You might as well receive the full party benefit.

I did not say that guild asks you to use magic pets, BUT using a kenta on a mage MB is Noobish, and that is what 9s don't like
Here is why mage pet goes on mage class:
1. UNITY - if a pet is mage his unity will benefit himself and you! If pet is melee unity won't benefit you cause you're mage....
2. TOGGLE + MASS TOGGLES - You're toggles will benefit both your pet if you use same class pets (int support will benefit both your pets if they are magic types). And toggles from OL like Clutch mentioned are more or less Spirit Auras since there is lot's of magic pets in pties.
2. MASTER CLASS - Law of Exchange + Primal Concentration + Mortal Coil + Breeder's synergy. I think that I need to explain this, so here it goes: basic law of these AWESOME passives is that if you have more matt and int your pet will have the same effect!! So if you're a mage MB (int + vit build like you should be) you will have lot's of matt and int that will transfer to your pet. And of that pet is kenta then he will get boost to his matt not patt like he should do, ergo he is not in his full potential as a MB pet. I don't mean to insult you or anything but you're noobish if you're using a patt pet on mage MB :/

Keep your eyes on your skills and the mere meaning of your class. Imo the pet is you're main character, specially if you can't afford +20 equips on you're self. My pets always have better equips then me on my MB. Why? Cause they're my main damage output. This is strictly PVE setup, I'm a nooblord in PVP.

My biggest pet peeve with caster classes is the fact that they seemingly have to stand across the room from the rest of the party.
Do casters get off watching their little fire and lightning bolts fly across the room, as though the distance involved increases the impact or accuracy of the spell?

With my favorite classes being healer and tank (including off-tank with my evoker), I contantly nag the casters to stay close to the main group, as the safest place in a room tends to be next to the tank (I cannot control aggro from across a room). The casters will invariably argue that being so close to mobs with their relative weaker armor makes them die more quickly, or somesuch BS. As a douche-tank, I will let that sneaky patrol kill them, or the mob they start casting on before I can grab it them kill them; usually they come in closer.

I bring this up because the what I outline above leads to a big problem with casters using melee pets:
all I see is their melee pet doing laps of the room, but almost never doing any DD, having to pace back and forth the distance between the main group and the caster. Same goes for healers with melee pets.

I thought since MC class, breeders depending on their playstyle will provide more benefit to their pets...

ie: if you use melee weapons, then i would expect your build to contain more str...this in turn would also give your "melee" pets a boost in atk power therefore fully maximizing your dmg output as a breeder.

Now since you are a staff breeder, it would only be typical that people would expect you to be using a magetype pet (ie: IM, Naga, RP, or WD) since your int/mp or m.atk or w/e would also provide boosted stats to your pet.

I'm thinking of rebirthing into a healer, I found a rebirth scroll in my item box, and healers are in demand, and I can't find a dp as a MB, and I already have 2 r6 healing pets
